MEET SCOTT

Scott brings more than 30 years of business, teaching, coaching, representation, and tax consulting to Luke’s Montana Group and is a 4th generation Realtor. He owns several business’ and is highly competitive and driven in all of his endeavors.

Scott is an Enrolled Agent (EA) and the owner of TLC Action Income Tax Service Inc, founded in 1992, one of Orange County, CA’s top rated professional tax offices servicing clients nationwide for personal tax, business tax, tax resolution and representation needs.

Scott was raised in Southern California and spent nearly 15 years living in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and working in Mammoth Lakes, CA before meeting Dasha and calling Montana home.

Scott has a diverse background, is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona (B.S. Physical Education/Kinesiology), Fullerton College (A.A. Kinesiology/ PE) and also studied at UC San Diego. He holds a California Teaching Credential and was a high school teacher and coach for 19 years (varsity baseball and cross country). His resume includes a 5-year stint as a professional Ironman Triathlete competing in more than 120 events, 14 ultra-distance triathlons and 2 Hawaiian Ironman Triathlon World Championships 1987 and 1989.

His families love of baseball and coaching has led him to run several club programs with players from all over the country and Puerto Rico including So Cal National Travel Team and Montana National Travel Team. Coach Luke founded So Cal National Travel Team in 2005 after being involved with the nationally renowned Placentia Mustangs program since the mid 90’s. His resume includes being a Varsity High School Head Coach for more than 19 years including the USA Today #2 ranked program nationally in 2004. His travel teams have won National Championship Titles in 2001, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015 with several national runner-up finishes as well. To date his programs have committed more than 420 student athletes to over 200 schools nationwide, 36 players into Major League Baseball, 65 drafted by MLB (2013-24), 35 on USA Baseball National Teams, and 3 of them on the 2008 College World Series Champions Fresno State. Big leaguers Jonathan India 2021 NL Rookie of the Year, Freddie Freeman 2021 and 2024 World Series MVP, Mark Trumbo (2016 MLB Home Run Leader, 2x All Star), Ian Kennedy, and Tyler Mahle, all played for Coach Luke at some point in their amateur careers. Coach Luke’s first big leaguer and a two time All American at CAL was younger brother Matt Luke (96 NYY, 98 LAD, 99 LAA) whom he coached and mentored from 12 years old on.

Scott enjoys spending time with Dasha and their greatest pleasure raising their son Nicholas.  He loves family time at any of the lakes, golfing and is incredibly passionate about College Football and the Alabama Crimson Tide, being fortunate enough to attend several playoff games together.  We get great satisfaction in forming lifelong relationships with our clients as we assist them in creating their real estate dreams.
